Medley Rules

Map: map that is selected for a game
Game: a game played on a map
Match: 3 games, comprising of 1 3v3CTF, 1 2v2TDM, 1 Duel
Round: All the Matches played in 1 week of competition.
Tournament Registration:

Read through all these rules before registration, Admins are not liable if you haven't read the rules.
Teams:
A team is comprised of 4 members. Each week, 3 players will play the Match, and the 4th will reserve.
No mid-match substitutions will be allowed. The reserve can play the next week.
Team members must be from Australia or New Zealand.
ALL Team members must be registered to the AussieNexers website.
Tournament Match Structure:

Teams will be arranged into one Ladder, playing every other team once.
The top 4 teams will progress to a single elimination finals set.
Ties for Placings in the Group Stages:
Ties will be decided on:
a) Winner of Match between two teams during the group stage
b) Number of maps Won in total during the group stage
c) For and Against total for group stage.
A single Round consists of:
1x 3v3CTF game On a Map decided using ModElim Method. (see below)
1x 2v2TDM game On a Map decided using ModElim Method. (see below)
1x 1v1Duel game On a Map decided using ModElim Method. (see below)
Match Scheduling:

Note: deadline refers to the latest time prior to 9pm sunday when the first game of the match must start by.
Teams are required to organise their matches during the week of the round (sunday to sunday).
The cut-off time to start your match is 8:30PM AEDT on the deadline sunday.
Turn up to your games on time, and don't make others wait.
You will be disqualified from your match if you are more than 20 minutes late.
Team and Player Names:

You must play with your registered name. Failing to do so risks disqualification.
Sportsmanship:
A common sense level of respect to all players must be shown at all times. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. It is at the
discretion of a tourney admin to act upon violators, or exhibitors of poor behaviour.
Game Servers:
All matches are to be played on the Aussienexers Tourney Servers. (In the unlikely event of technical difficulties,
tournament administrators may negotiate a foreign server to play on).
All mumbling must be on the Aussienexers Mumble Server.
Forfeits:
If no match is played, the team that has:
a) Shown up at the scheduled time
b) If no scheduled time, shown up at 8:30PM on the given Deadline Sunday
will be declared the winner.
The Forfeit Winner receives the same For and Against as the previous round.
Before a Match:
Maps Must be selected using the ModElim method (see below) 1 week in advance of the Round Deadline. That is 10:30PM the Sunday
prior to the round starting.
Immediately before your game you must pm the Match admin to tell him your lineups for CTF, TDM and 1v1.
ModElim Method:
For 3v3:
Both Teams pick 3 maps that you want to ELIMINATE from the map pool.
The final map will be randomly chosen from the remaining 1-4 maps.
For 2v2:
Both Teams pick 3 maps that you want to ELIMINATE from the map pool.
The final map will be randomly chosen from the remaining 1-4 maps.
For 1v1:
Both Teams pick 5 maps that you want to ELIMINATE from the map pool.
The final map will be randomly chosen from the remaining 1-6 maps.
During a Match:
Warmup will be limited to 5 minutes per game.
Public chat will be muted.
In the case of a tied game, overtime will be golden frag/capture.
Only 3 players are allowed to play in a match, there will be no substitutions during, or between maps.
Of the 3 players who play in the 3v3 CTF map, 2 will play the TDM map, with the other player playing the Duel map. You cannot play both
TDM and Duel.
Spectators will be limited to Tournament admins, and Match Broadcasters.
*NOTE: Demos will be automatically taken of your match. They will be placed on the AussieNexers tourney website.

2v2 Pool:

3v3 Pool:
vectorwarsproctf, hydronex_b4, dm_castle, go, gasoline_powered, runningmanctf, soylent_ctf
MAKE SURE you have all these maps at the START of the tournament. You can download them all from
http://maps.aussienexers.com/tourney/bison_medley/.
Following a Match:
You have until the following Monday 8:30pm to dispute a match.
Disputes:
In the case of a disputed score or other allegation DEMOS and SCREENSHOTS will be used BY ADMINS to determine the outcome.
Cheating:
Cheating includes but is not limited to Aimbotting, exploiting map leakages or bugs, use of the defer command and listening to official
broadcasts of games. If any of this occurs you will risk elimination from the tournament at the discretion of tourney admins.
