Duel Rules

MAKE SURE you have all these maps at the START of the tournament. You can download them all from our servers. A link will be made available closer to the tournament starting.


Tournament Registration:

Read through all these rules before registration, Admins are not liable if you haven't read the rules.

This Tournament is Invite only, If you are invited you will get instructions on how to register.

On registration, you may vote for the maps you want in the map pool. You should vote in a '3,2,1' format, where '3' is your highest preference and '1' is your lowest. You cannot vote for a map more than once. You may vote for any map in this pool:

Tournament Match Structure:

Players will be arranged into 4 groups of 4 based on Initial Tournament Seeding, you will play every other player in your group.

The top 2 players will progress to a double elimination finals bracket.

Match Scheduling:

You must have started your match before 9pm on the date given in your schedule.

Players are required to organise their matches between the finish of the previous round and the given deadline date.

Turn up to your games on time, and don't make others wait.

You will be disqualified from your match if you are more than 15 minutes late.


Player Names:

You must play with your registered name. Failing to do so risks disqualification.


Sportsmanship:

A common sense level of respect to all players must be shown at all times. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. It is at the discretion of a tourney admin to act upon violators, or exhibitors of poor behaviour.


Game Servers:

All matches are to be played on the Aussienexers Tourney Servers. (In the unlikely event of technical difficulties, tournament administrators may negotiate a foreign server to play on).


Forfeits:

If no match is played, the player that has:

The Forfeit winner receives the For and Against gained from their last win. If no wins have been previously attained, they receive the average For and Against gained for the respective round.


Before a Match:

Each Player selects one map from the map pool at the close of the previous round. If you do not choose a map a random map will be selected for you.

3 random maps that are not picked as primary maps in your group will be the 'decider pool'. If a decider is required each player will eliminate 1 map in turn. This will be the deciding map.


During a Match:

An admin is not required.

Warmup will be limited to 5 minutes per game.

Bantering the other player will result in all players being muted.

In the case of a tied game, overtime will be added one minute at a time, until a winner is decided.

*NOTE: Demos will be automatically taken of your match. They will be placed on the AussieNexers tourney website.


Following a Match:

IF no admin was able to be present for your match, you MUST supply an admin with the time of your match, as well as the server on which it was played. Scores and links to screenshots would also be appreciated, though not required. You may enter the scores for your match simply by logging into the tourney website.

You have until the following Monday 8:30pm to dispute a match.


Disputes:

In the case of a disputed score or other allegation demos and screenshots will be used BY ADMINS to determine the outcome.


Cheating:

Cheating includes but is not limited to Aimbotting, exploiting map leakages or bugs, use of the defer command and listening to official broadcasts of games. If any of this occurs you will risk elimination from the tournament at the discretion of tourney admins.
